Final Straw - REM

It would be reasonable to believe the Moth Trap had broken down over the past few days, or maybe stowed away for the season but no such luck. While we concentrated on the Bournemouth Air Show there was a continued 'Burning of the Midnight Lamp'. Here are a few images from those days, additions to the Property List marked *.
 The beautiful and delicate
 VESTAL*
 LIGHT EMERALD*
 Remarkably this was our 22nd
OLD LADY
 CENTRE-BARRED SALLOW*
 CABBAGE MOTH*
 WHITE SPECK
and it is hoped that this will turn out to be
 SEPTEMBER THORN??
we won't add an * until we find out!
 DOR BEETLE
As stated a number of times before
"we don't do Micro Moths"
but when they look like
 BEAUTIFUL CHINA MARK
how could we resist?
with just a few more that have appeared in the trap this week
 No Name
This is thought to be one of the Tortrix Species?
As the last bales of straw are committed to the barn it's time to
embark on another short journey. This time north and west, where
I should arrive early tomorrow morning. Just wait and see!
