To keep the Sunday momentum going we have delved into the archive once again not only to bring our valued audience a glimps into some of the World's Minor Treasures but also to relive those moments ourself!

ANGKOR WATT - CAMBODIA
with likely its most famed tableau the
Battle of the Sea of Milk
The warmest of welcoms from everyone at the
GOLDEN TEMPLE AMRITSAR

where 50,000 cooked meals are given free daily to not only the 'pilgrims' but all visitors alike.
Another querky fact is that the higher your station in life the more

'washing up' you are expected to do.
"Dohbie, Dhobie, Dhobie never go ashore, never have to join the queue outside the Sick Bay door"!
And so on to Jordan and the
7 Pillars of Wisdom and
the magnificence of
PETRA or the ROSE CITY

not 'built' but carved out of the cliff-face!

THE JOSHUA TREE - CHILE
and U 2
LAKE ATITLAN - GUATEMALA
in search of the long, long time extinct
Atitlan Grebe.
Extinction. The decline of the Atitlán grebe began in 1958 and again in 1960 after Smallmouth Bass (Micropterus dolomieu) and Largemouth Bass (Micropterus salmoides) were introduced into Lake Atitlán. These invasive species reduced the crabs and fish species which the grebes depended on for food and killed grebe chicks.
