Jagged Little Pill - Alanis Morrissette

That charming Jockanese adjective, pronounced with a Scottish lilt,
DREEK
best describes the conditions of yesterday and neatly scarfs in with
what Wildlife was found, so Thank Goodness there was a 'day before'.
Few highlights even then but
 MERLIN
was a case in point
which has been seen hunting the 'Flat-Lands' of the new Golf Course
and also diverting to Harbins garden on a couple of occasions.
Not a chance of a photograph, so these images have been lifted from the archive.

(bottom 2) one captured eating a Redwing on the Buchan Alpha Oil Rig 2005.

 WREN
have also been gracing all areas
which are always a welcome sight, while there are now
c3 GREEN WOODPECKER
continue to eke out an existence on whatever it is they are finding on the
Lawn Tennis Court.
On the Heath
STONECHAT

are starting to break cover after a short absence and
 SKYLARK
 are taking to the wing.
They are not alone in this as yesterday we watched the
 World's Biggest Boeing 747
(Jumbo Jet)
take off from Bournemouth International Airport
This 76 meter long beast belongs to the Qatar Amiri Flight which
is owned and operated by the Government of Qatar catering for
the nations Royal Family and attendant VIP Staff.
It was noted as heading towards Greenland, which can only mean one thing,
topping up the ice buckets for the cocktail bar which they do from time to time!
A few Wildfowl also remain at the ponds with
 a pair of
TEAL
being joined by c2 male
MUTE SWAN
trying to snuggle up to a lone female.
MALLARD and WIGEON
and also joining the throng taking advantage of the
liberally strew Barley were a couple of
STOCK DOVE seen with one of the WIGEON
 Oil Company Executive Jet
While here at The Bagsy Blog we are not given to offencive language, profanities, racist remarks or for that matter anything else of the genre, there are odd occasions when good old fashion HUMOUR (yes, you remember HUMOUR) negates some of that and is thought worthy of publication through our pages. Meeting up with with my friends brother and sister John and Maggie Gifford during the week at the Royal Oak at Bere Regis, there was at one point a need to excuse myself. While washing my hands my attention was drawn to the vending machine on the bulkhead and while familiar with dispensers of that Everlasting Chewing Gum, this was a first for the Jagged Little Pill! Probably need to get out more often!
Only part heed had been taken until reaching the
Operating Instructions.
Good job there was a toilet at hand, or there may have been an accident!
IF TIME ALLOWS WE MAY SLIP IN AN
'EXTRA POST' MANANA!
