DAYDREAM - The Lovin' Spoonful

And even if time ain't really on my side,
It's one of those days for taking a walk outside.
I'm blowing the day to take a walk in the sun,
and fall on my face on somebody's new mowed lawn.
Over the past 2 or 3 days Time, Internet Access and reliably Good Weather have all been at a premium, but that doesn't mean we haven't been out and about. The New Ponds at the north of Parley Court Farm have now captured my imagination so much so that 'hours' are being spent up there. The results of these vigils will have to wait for another day, but it can be said that all 3 common Hirundines (Swallow, House Martin and Sand Martin) all seem to be utilising the airspace above to stock up before crossing the English Channel. Mallard are starting to move in, Green Sandpiper are now daily (c5 at the last count) and the previously reported Cuckoo was considered a great bonus.
At the Moth Traps

OAK NYCTEOLINE
