White Bird - It's a Beautiful Day

Another

Cold and Frosty Morning
that didn't even last to 10:30 before becoming
SPRING-LIKE
with all watercourses
CANADA GEESE
MALLARD
ice free and unable to resist any of the local
KESTRELs
in such pose down south where the next arrival was certainly straight from the

Tales of the Unexpected
and certainly
SPITFIRE
like even with the 'clipped' wing and while we had previously reported that the
CRAB-APPLES
were now over we found that we had somewhat been mistaken with
FIELDFARE
and female
BLACKBIRDs
alike still finding sustenance and our wander ending with the now very familiar
ROYAL NAVY MERLIN
and along the verges the first signs of budding
DAFFODILS
with the final remarkable image coming from elsewhere that we have forgotten an
albino
LONG-EARED OWL
with 'archetype'.
It's a Beautiful Day are/were an American band formed in San Fracisco, California, in 1967 featuring vocalist Patti Santos and violinist Dave La Flame.
ALBINO LAPWING
by kind permission of Bomber!

SORROW - Pink Floyd

Only a single digit in it but that of the + variety at 1°C keeping Jack Frost a little at bay, while the Dawn Chorus was provided by a single

SONG THRUSH

out-singing 3 or 4

ROBINs
by a Royal Mile.

At daylight we headed north but within seconds 'disaster'

but fortunately not for myself
but likey showing there is still ICE about along the Airport fence line.
As far as the watercourses were concerned still just a trace of thin ice on the
IRRIGATION POND
while within the Solar Panel Compound again no Moths or other Insects within the trap but unlike the previous day, when there were none, at least a few Birds
starting with
an unexpected
small flock of
FIELDFARE
with just a hint of the oncoming Buds of Spring.
 with a couple of grazing
ROE DEER
and ending with another
PINK FLOYD MOMENT

Sweet smell of a great sorrow lies over the land Plumes of smoke rise,

merge into the leaden sky. Man lies and dreams of green fields and rivers,

but awakes to a morning with no reason for waking.

Nessun Dorma - L. P.

Being something of a NEWS hog, especially Channel 4, it is felt giving up drinking Wine would be preferable to swiching off the Idiot's Lantern. Not quiet sure what the context was, as was drinking wine at the time, there was an item refering to the concert of the 30th of July 1991 known as

 PAVAROTTI in the PARK

which neatly fell on the day before, along with a crew mate from Derby, we were to return to our duties aboard the Semi-submesible Drilling Rig Stena Hunter in the North sea.

A 'million' memories across a day when the rain never stopped and thousands of like minded adoring fans sharing our picnics during a 4 hours wait for the gig to begin. With just one of those hours having passed it was said that Luciano looked out of his hotel window across Hyde Park to see the now slightly damp throng of fans chearing and waving and decided to perform an impromptu which lasted over an hour - FANTASTIC.
The Main Performace was perfection itself becoming one of the most memorable moments in my (our) lives! but we digress so on to the
FROZEN MOTH TRAP
which produced what will likely be one of the graetes surprises of the year a single
BUFF-TAILED BUMBLEBEE
along with what is hoped to be some sluggish footage?
Otherwise, not quite the best of days but there is aways something even if repeats! An opportunist shot of c2
high-flying
EGYPTIAN GEESE
which we hope to find landed sometime later, and apart from this
PIATUS-PC-FLIGHT-RADAR
everything else appeared to be doing balancing acts starting with a couple of
HERRING GULLs
just a single
FIELDFARE
well away from what remains of the Crabapple food source
and with 'dozens' of
ROOKs
having taken to the high-wire an estimated 60?
Unfortuneately the 700+ hits didn't last for a second day so we can only advise those who remain that this a DAILY publication and ask that all of our valued reaership compose a Facebook, or other post, to all their contacts to add to the support. Thanking you in anticipation it will only take a few seconds!
