A perfectly comfortable rest the night before last for $44, but not quite as good as the San Felipe one at $29. Arrived at the Greyhound Station here in Merced at 07:45 for the 08:15 service to Sacramento, then onward to Salt Lake City, to fine the coach had been delayed by one hour and then by 2 and a half. Not really a problem as there was a 5 hours 'stop over' there and sitting here in the bright morning sunshine, about to edit more photographs, so on the whole all is well.
Managed Salt Lake City Utah (overnight) but a couple of hours were more than enough in a sterile looking place, as clean as a whistle (would be nice to have some of it in Weymouth) but not a temple or monument worthy of a photograph. Realising this is the shortest post 'ever' it was always going to be a lean period during the attempt to 'twitch' the last 2 States. At time of writing I'm on the Greyhound bound for Boise, Idaho where, if logistics allow, I hope to visit the National Park some way out of town. I have to post no for fear of the Internet dropping out as we get underwayor so bare with me and I'll be back!
The added advantage of onboard Wi Fi has allowed me to publish a few (inferior) photos taken through the coach window. All were taken in California before crossing the State Line into Utah.
