The third morning on the trot of early heavy Mist or Fog and the third in a row of beautiful sunny days, yes the Children are well back at school! Referring to yesterday, as this Post does, it was the day of the annual treat for Janet's Mum and Dad as all 4, along with one or two other family members, shot off to the Saint Mary's Football Ground to witness Southampton v Manchester United. It is an Ill (and Chill) Wind that doesn't blow me some good on such an occasion as once again elevated to the Peerage and Lord of all in Sight there were a number of duties to perform. A new suit to suit the occasion with a maritime feel with more 'gold braid' than Elton John's underpants and a peeked cap, bedecked with a massive gold badge, especially 'towed' down from the Clyde Shipbuilders. After completing the Housework, feeding the Chicks, walking the Dogs, muckin' out the Horses et al, I was allowed to rummage through the Moth Traps complete with that feeling of High Office.

Arriving at the Irrigation Pond even the best observer would have struggled to see the other side, while at the Gravel Pit even Hubble himself would have to have devised a new optic to scan the far bank. What COULD be seen was NOTHING so good reason to pay another visit on the way back from Merritown and already the mist was being burnt off quite rapidly. Escorted part way to The Gate by this
