Dazed and Confussed - Led Zeppelin

No doubt you all noticed yesterday Major Mental Abrassion, which was pointed out by John Gifford, not an Okapi at all but a Malasian Tapir. It one of those moments when it suits to be a SENIOR just don't know where we were to make such a bloomer but all has been put to rights!! We can also thank our lucky stars that the 'hit count' also plummered so not embarassed in front of such a wide audiance - Cheers.

We have got ourself into something of yet another muddle not knowing for certainty which day this Post represents, but then "a Post is a Post"!

Our 54th

MERVEILLE du JOUR
of the season was the highlight from the Moth Traps last night with only the 'micro'
BOX-TREE MOTH
and the Ichneumon Wasp thought to be
 Amblyteles armator?

as back up cast but no complaint given the 0°C!

The c4 Mute Swans continue their residence on the Irrigation Pond while some tranquility seems to have visited the remaining family party of

LITTLE GREBE
at the Gravel Pit
juvenile
as the parent bird appears not to be attacking the youngsters anymore?
Due to the recent heavy rain the tide-line at both watercourse are far higher, which seems to suit
the only remaining
MOORHEN
As predicted in a previous post the
MOLEs
are now starting to encroach on the
Solar Panel Compound
while there was something of a feeding frenzy going on at the gateway to the Heath where a
CHAFFINCH
flock had found something to their likeing and something of a conundrum as to why the
RARE BREED CATTLE
have taken so long to Hoover up the fallers?
During the night the wind had 'backed' no more than a couple of points to the west
but enough to send it blowing directly along the woodland ride
upskittleing the mothing umbrella - no damage done!
A lingering look at the now rapidly changing hues of the Aspens

and on the way back it was found that every apple had been eaten, and quite frankly understood as these are very tasty fruits and with that glint in his eye certainly palatable to the

Old English White Steer!
