Out of Town - Max Bygraves

The new Moths added to the Year List didn't acctually add up to a Pallet of Colour

such as
MAY HIGHFLIER
+ L-ALBUM WAINSCOT

but they all count especially with the vocals provided by at least 2

CETTI'S WARBLERS
with one in part looking to be sporting juvenile plumage?
would make for a Good Start to any day and add to that variations on a theme a
BURNISHED BRASS
with a broken brown centre bar across the wings
and the other with complete bar.
Also at riverside what we bekieve to be
LARGE RED DAMSELFLY
AZURE DAMSELFLY
while down south the
ROE DEER
appeared to be getting very frisky.
At the Gravel Pit a Tale of the Unexpected
as at long, long last we found a couple of
COMMON SANDPIPER
(if we haven't made another 'faux pas' Dave)
Long overdue (forgotten) was the
NIGHTJAR
flushed on our side of the party fence with the Heath some 10 days ago, but to catch up from Dave's reports, while here over the weekend, a bag full flying all over the place
which we DO NOT go crashing through the bracken
to find them but if good fortune shines
we are ready to
Take Advantage.
Considering we had done well already, driving the perimeter fence inside of the
Solar Panel Compound
we found here that the Roe Deer were well beyound rutting with this
FAWN
having to be captured
through the fence and we leave you with a couple of startling images from others
with Bomber having had a splendid day with the
WOOD TIGER MOTHs
(many, many dozens we are told)
and a splendid
WOODCHAT SHRIKE
from we don't remember where but likely Bomber again or John or Dave?
