All in a Mouse's Night - Genesis

from the Wind and Wuthering album
The past couple of days has been a period of far more clement weather, allowing wanderings with a bit of sun on our back, while reasonable overnight temperatures have also seen some Moths continue to appear. No startling new additions to the PCF List but both
RED-LINE QUAKER
and
BRINDLED GREEN
have added to the Year List.
In addition
SEPTEMBER THORN
for one are still on the wing.
While the Equestrian Ladies are seen most days, our encounters don't
usually coincided with them leaving to enjoy their daily ride.
JANET the Lady of the House (foreground) with friend JEN
and before setting off joined by VERONICA (left).
The GREAT news is that over the passing days numbers of Passerines,
the song/perching birds, have increased dramatically particularly
within the Solar Panel Compounds and along the Sewerage Works Fence.

ROBIN
While there were a number of
BULLFINCH
flitting around this stretch it was only this female that lingered
long enough to make the wait worthwhile.

before turning our attentions to the covers, mostly laid to attract
REPTILES
but you never know quite what you will find.
Yesterday it was
