 At Parley Pond the sky was alive with juvenile

HOUSE MARTIN

an estimated 2 - 300, in flight, on the wires and mobbing Willow Trees.

Seen every day, some of the 

HORSES

which we take for granted and have never featured on video.

Also there, the scented

 WATER MINT

is in full bloom but now time to visit the Common.
On arrival at the Irrigation Pond the sight that met our eyes was one

that we had hoped for since we started keeping records here, a

juvenile

LITTLE GREBE

preening

and

with a Fish.

Seemingly alarmed at our presence, time to retreat!

We didn't want to be to hasty in claiming the 

First Breeding Record for the Property

but this was considered endorsed when we found a second

juvenile on the Gravel Pit this very day!

On to the Heath where the Fruits of the Forest ripen by the day.
