The Young Ones - Cliff Richard

With rain, at times, still hindering our progress we continue to mix a little of the previous days with those that went before. Luckily, we have been able to get to the Moth Traps and seen some success so an assotment here of those added to the Year List.

Considered 'common' throughout the British Isles
we always look foreward to capturing the likes of
BEAUTIFUL GOLDEN Y
as we love the family group with those nifty little epaulettes.
Additionally,
FOUR-DOTTED FOOTMAN
was coaxed out of hiding along with another 'commoner'
DOUBLE SQUARE-SPOT
Otherwise, the day was almost given over entirely to New Arrivals
with the weather perhapes suiting such things as
very scruffy looking juvenile
COAL TITs
(adult)
which
within a blink of an eye
will look every bit like the perant birds shown.
There was also a Brief Encounter
with a young
STONECHAT
but feel we could do with a little more practice, in the stability department, with the video?
A sigh we have not seen since early pandemic and that is a full c4
EUROPEAN CARGO AIRBUSES
on the pan at the same time!
"They think it's all over" - my thought is it is still a long way off!
and to add
icing to an already
satisfactory cake
GREAT SPOTTED WOODPECKERs
also added
to the mix - more tomorrow we hope!
and PS, did you see the Radiohead set from Glastonbury late last Friday evening? Just to highlight one of the performers, that Jonny Greenwood has to be one of the most sensational ROCKERS of all time and CREEP one of the greatest alternative Love Songs!

When you were here before, couldn't look you in the eye
You're just like an angel, your skin makes me cry
You float like a feather, in a beautiful world
I wish I was specia, you're so very special
But I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo,
what the hell am I doin' here? I don't belong here!
