 A little bit adrift with the offerings from the week-end when Dave arrived late afternoon itching to get his Moth Traps set up at the eastern end of our patch, but not before light refreshments. Sat in the sun for all of a minute he reported

flying overhead then following in quick succession

and similarly
SAND MARTINs

HOUSE MARTINs
along with singles of

COMMON SWIFT
and

COMMON BUZZARD
and later, during the setting-up process

and evening drew on,  some of the nocturnals such as

NIGHTJAR

BADGER
and

WOODCOCK

and expectations for a decent catch to come in the morning?
