Polls Apart but Together

An overnight and early morning weather picture that John Lennon would certainly describe as 'GROTTY'

didn't brighten up much at dawn, but the full picture really started the evening before.
Leaving shelter to position the Moth Traps there was a Young Lady standing along the pathway to the stables who was offered a jaunty good evening and a deal of conversation. Totally facinates by the traps, even though not fired up yet, she was offered a closer look if she were to return at 06:00.
Totally taken by the catch within including a First for the Year
GEM
and a
DARK SPINACH

during our further conversation it was found that she was not yet a Woman at all but a 12 years old School Girl from Poland on a camping holiday with her Father. With a knowlege far in advance of her years the only down-side was that she could only stay for 3 of the traps, but certainly better than none during which we also had a fly over

HURCULES
TRANSPORT
and also a fan of more domestic creatures we jammed into some of the cattle
OLD ENGLISH WHITE BULL
the camera shy juvenile
SUFFOLK REDs
along with one of the
BELTED GALLOWAYs
grazing the satellite section of the Heath.
Another disturbance from above from what is believed to be a
EMBAER LINEAGE 1000

and in the final trap before her departure a

DAMSELFLY
in a teneral state, full colour not develloped yet and unidentified,
a rather impressive
LARGE EMERALD

and finally from the traps a 'spotless'

HARLEQUIN LADYBIRD
leaving me alone to find the

GREEN WOOD PECKERs
