Sitting? In The Park - Georgie Fame

Just being with these fine Grand Children is enough, I've gained 20 years since being here, so with the weather set fine again and the prospects of a visit to the park
a good breakfast was essential.
ALEX
FRED
MUMMY and BENNY
A more than willing Grandpa Bagsy.
Then comes the 'not so welcome' bit!
Before venturing any further the boys wanted a look at
Grandpa's new car

and after functioning every control on the panel, including
knocking half the charge out of the battery and emptying the
'wiper bottle' there was just time for a
quick drink in the garden before leaving.
PUFFED OUT?
THAT'S ONLY HALF OF IT!
and so for an Ice Cream.
On the way home Alex found this Caterpillar.
A fantastic but tiring day - Roll on the next.

Maggies Farm - Bob Dylan

More of a pictorial today as along with Lisa and the Boys we visited
a Community Farm
not exactly in the middle of the conurbation but close enough
for just a 10 minutes drive.

On arrival Mummy with, from left,
Fred, Alex and Benny.
The Pig Sty
All the boys brave enough to stroke the animals,
and all aware of 'washing hands' afterwards.
On to the Great Big Billy Goat Gruff
Everest next Alex
One of the big Sows
and even bigger Shire Horse
The boys feeding the Guinea Pigs
Yellow Parrot
a 'Tick' for me!
Lisa helping
A wealth of things to see, and all 'hands on'!
It was a great day with a final present to all our friends at
PARLEY
see you soon!

We Are Family - Sly and the Family Stone

The first trip in my new car was a memorable one as, on a bright sunny day, I made my way to Bristol assisted by GPS. Not a single hitch or delay it was pleasant enough and as I pulled up outside of my daughter's house she,
LISA along with 3 sons arrived from the shops.
First to greet me was ALEXANDER quickly followed by
FREDERICK
and by the time we reached the garden we had also been joined by
BENJAMIN.
Now, while I had no intention of hogging the organisation
there are simply some things that have to be PRIORITY!
It was straight out with the Moth Trap which seemed to be
of most interest to Alex,
but then Benny arrived to arrange the egg trays.
The rest of the day was taken up with catching up on family matters
so little time for more photographs, but rest assures there should
be plenty more during my stay.
Before leaving Parley there was another new addition to the
Property List
THE SNOUT
which was of the second generation.
There was also a potential 'heart stopper' tentatively thought to be
The Butterbur
and while similar this
ROSY RUSTIC
was all too pink to be the rare cousin.
LOVE TO ALL AT HARBINS
