Time to move on again with the aim of reaching Santiago (2,100Km) in the next few days. Arica has been a great place to spend a little time but all of a sudden days seem at a premium, so gotta move! Don't know when I'll get access again so for now here are a few photos to keep you going.
White-winged Cinclodes
Ash-breasted Sierra-Finch
and for those who seem not to be getting enough Mammals (Nick), despite Ocelot earlier, here are a few.
Southern Viscacha
Vicuna the smallest of the Llama family
Alpaca is third largest, but couldn't get a photo of Guanaco (the next down in size)
and finally, Llama. This one is a truly 'wild' beat as can be told from the red and white outer ear coverts, there you've learnt something new today!
