Sultan of Swing - Dire Straits

Morning Mist on the Mountain

Met these lovely Indian people, who work in Singapore, and shared a few 'birding' moments with them.

Slight improvement on SILVER-EARED MESIA photos?

WHITE-THROATED FANTAIL

There have been 3 species of SQUIRREL seen so far, we'll endeavour to bring photos later.

This image of a male LITTLE PIED FLYCATCHER can be improved on also, so hope it returns to what seems like its nest site.

Female LITTLE PIED FLYCATCHER, no relation!

This fantastic BUG is larger than a golf ball, not to be found unexpectedly down ones T-shirt!

FIRE-BREASTED FLOWERPECKER

More work and patience needed with BLACK-THROATED SUNBIRD.

Nest of PACIFIC SWIFT

Apart from the obvious RELICT GULL, if anyone had asked which bird I would like to see most during my wanderings through Asia, this is it. Being a Tit I would have thought it about the size of GREAT, but no it's almost twice the size and a dapper little chap. It approached within touching distance.

SULTAN TIT
now that's what I call 'Swinging'!

The story so far:-

Malayan Species Total = 36
World Lifers = 16
