Didn't even need to get out of the
bunk to suss the weather as at 05:00 the wind was rattling the pains and
by 07:00 the rain had started in earnest. It stayed that way all day,
hence a return to the archive for a few photos of the Wren Family, and
associates, to brighten an otherwise dreadful day.

SAT 21 JULY 2012 OPENING DAY FOR THE FINE FOUNDATION CHESIL BEACH CENTRE
12 noon to 5pm. This will be a day for volunteers and the local
community to celebrate the opening of the new Chesil Beach Centre. There
will be family activities, outdoor food, and entertainment by local choirs
– Quangle Wangles and Coastal Voices. Free event, everybody
welcome. For more information ring Emily on 07824438975. The
Centre is half way along the Causeway from Weymouth to Portland, on the Portland
