TOAD - Ginger Baker drum solo (Cream)

Along with most other areas/regions with interest in Wildlife we have been severely effected by the weather of Rain, Rain and then even more Rain, but still we soldier on. While it has been a great opportunity to continue with the Memoirs (we're now up to 1993 and counting) very little time has been spent in the Field while what time has been spent plying the Recording Area hasn't shown a lot for the effort. We continue with the Moth Traps with a species
 New for 2015
 BLAIR'S SHOULDER-KNOT
yesterday while
 CABBAGE MOTH
and
TURNIP MOTH
also showed up.
It has been a while now since we saw anything of the
RIVER STOUR
young
MUTE SWANS
which were only seen again as the result of another break for weather
while monitoring the traps. Afterwards we found
 a super-sized
ROSY RUSTIC
and
 TACHINID GREEN BOTTLE
before securing this unusual
Coffee Time Shot.
When was the last time you saw
PIED WAGTAIL
captured at this angle? Read On!
Down at Parley Pond the local
GREY HERON
looked
Pretty in Pink
among the Aquatic Fern.
On the lookout for the Little Owls, without success,
we encountered these 3
PHEASANTS
with a fourth perched high in an Oak Tree
looking rather GUAN-like, had we found
The Western Palearctic's first
SICKLE-WINGED GUAN?
 In the same tree this
 MAGPIE
unusually showed little regard for our presence, then onward to
The Common.
The first sighting at one of the Solar Panel Compounds
was the return of at least a dozen
 REED BUNTING
along with similar numbers of
 GREENFINCH
 and
MEADOW PIPIT
Following the usual track onto
Merritown Heath and Bournemouth International Airport
the
 GIRDERS
for the new-build had arrived, is this in fact going to be an
 FACTORY
"just like it says on the Can"!
and the
 BIG BOYS
had also arrived.
Note the progress since our last shot here
 Skeleton of a Gable End.
More young
SLOW WORMS
and the ERICA once like
Purple Haze all in my brain, lately things don't seem the same.
Actin' funny but I don't know why, 'scuse me while I kiss the sky.
Purple Haze (Live) - Jimi Hendrix
has turned to
Golden Brown texture like sun, lays me down with my mind she runs.
Through the night no need to fight.
Never a frown with Golden Brown.
Golden Brown (Live) - The Stranglers
In the area once associated with Turf Production trees have been planted
and much of the rubble, including sheets of corrugated metal, lies untouched.
Here we found c4
separate
COMMON TOAD
with one escaping our grasp.
Then came something of a surprise as yet another sheet was lifted,
 CAN YOU SEE IT YET?
The 'first' positive record for our area of
HOUSE MOUSE
although it would be safe to say that across the Recording Area
this would not be a 'lone' individual.
and to conclude the
PIED WAGTAIL
perched on the Star Port at Slight Return II
