Clouds - Joni Michell

Spring-like days now meld into chilly evenings and low overnight temperature which are curtailing anything like decent catches at the Moth Traps, but still a few persist. This was the early morning scene yesterday, what looked like rain-bearing clouds, but nothing came of this.
TOWERING CUMULUS
Best from the Traps included
RED-GREEN CARPET
CABBAGE MOTH
and yet another version of
HARLEQUIN LADYBIRD
The preening continues at Parley Pond and surely it wont be long
now before we see the c7 Cynets take to the air?
Heads Up
and with the c5 Alpaca (if you look closely).
TEAL
at the Irrigation Pond have incresed again to c4.
 GREY WAGTAIL
 preening along with another shortlived
COMMON SNIPE
while the lone
COMMON SANDPIPER
was the first ever logged here for the month of
OCTOBER.
With Autumn now well underway we note that
there are nowhere near as many Apples os last year.
The latest addition to our sideline of Aircraft Spotting is this
BAe 146
along with more signs of Autumn
DOG ROSE HIPS
In appauling conditions and at great distance
KESTREL with VOLE
OIL PRODUCTION PLATFORM
'BUCHAN ALPHA'
North Sea
Latest news from my last charge is that she will cease production
before the end of the year, will be decommissioned and towed to
shore when all conditions are satisfied then there is a chance you may see at
least a part of her again when you next use a Razor Blade!
