are now starting to show that purplish pink hue while a female
TUFTED DUCK
was seen on the Gravel Pit.
Most of the other action on the day came from around the
Solar Panel Compound
Perimeter Fence with
GREAT SPOTTED WOODPECKER
still finding something of interest

FOX
on this occasion inside the Compound and the
wonderful sight

GREENFICH
and with some water still clinging on in the
Balancing Pond and Tributary
we were able to watch
EMPEROR DRAGONFLY
ovipositing.
Note the pesky and annoying
Common Blue Damselflies
which were occasionally perching on the larger Insect's thorax.
Later, from the Panorama Window in the
South Transept
of
Slight Return II,
we were able to observe more
GREENFICH
and
HOUSE SPARROWs
utilising the garden fence as a scaffold to access the
Grass Seed Heads
which under other conditions would not bear their weight!
Finally, one or two items
