Smoke on the Water - Deep Purple

A GREAT collection of you visited the Blog yesterday and
haveing worked it out, if each of you recruit another reader that will
Double the Tally!
I THINK??
A couple of First for the Year out of the traps kicked the day off in fine fashion
but there was still rain in the air!
 GREY BIRCH
significant as only seen a single time when we shared the company of our friend
Dave Foot
who managed to pull one out of the bag and introduce us to another new species
 BROWN SILVER-LINE
along with
BRINDLED PUG
just for the hell of it as seen before
At the Gravel Pit there was just a trace of
 "Smoke on the Water"
We all came out to Montreux on the Lake Geneva shoreline
To make records with a mobile we really didn't have much time
Frank Zappa and the Mothers were at the best place around
But then some stupid with a flare gun went and burned the place to the ground

Smoke on the water, fire in the sky
Inevitably when we tread the same path in more or less the same order day after day,
some of the same things will surely come into view and as in the case of the young
 LITTLE GREBE
we just thrive on watching its progress
while watching another prospective parent bird
now surely incubationg?
Which is not to say that we would overlook the humble
BLACK-HEADED GULL
taking a Bath and Dhobie as refered to in the
Royal Navy
Our next encounter was a bit of a stunner as we found ourself surrounded by
a most obliging family party of
BULLFINCH
 (male)
(pair)
 (female)
along with 3 or 4 'lively'
(juveniles)
and while inside of the
Solar Panel Compound
there were a couple of
ROE DEER
on the outside
Up to some strange antics
and finally from the
RES Solar Panel Maintainance Foreman an
EARTHWORM along with a COMMON LIZARD
found as he was doing some tidying up
