Satelitte of Love - Lou Reed

It has been a full 10 days since a report from one of the Fencing Centre crew of a male

MERLIN
along the bridleway we ply every day. The report considered reliable enough had us keeping our wits about us with yesterday having produced just the shortest glimps of this beauty, the image being borrowed for illustration. Despite the persistant rain the
SKYSCAPES
that come with it are worth their weight in gold and the only Moth was once again a
SATELITTE
but this time showing all 4 of the tiny white satelittes and the planets from which it derives the name. More additions at the Main Pond as someone has added c5
GUINEA FOWL
to this already over cluttered watercourse.
one of my favourites stuffed and roasted - wonder if they will notice one missing?
Otherwise, the rest was down to more common fare but did wonder what this activity
outside of one of the Solar Panel Compounds was all about but
doubtful they will be forming a marshland!
We haven't recorded let alone 'clicked' a
GREAT TIT
across the last couple of weeks and with not a waterfowl to be found between the 2 ponds
we stuck with the passerines
mostly male
CHAFFINCH
both
CHIFFCHAFF
and
GOLDCREST
were showing well along the Sewerage Works fenceline but
with no signs of a Firecrest or the elusive Black Redstart.
Worth a stop to look across the Solar Panels to a nicely formed
ANVIL
as a backdrop to the Heath where was found nothing of interest save for more
CLOUD COVER and AIRBUSES
The Floodplain which is now the Moors River is far better viewed
out to starboard on the way back but only producing the usual
spring of
noisy
TEAL (female)
while within the almost deserted
Solar Panel Compound
no more than
a single
PIED WAGTIL
in company with
but 2
MEADOW PIPITs
