Pumpkin Pie

Over the past 3 inclement nights, unsurprisingly, there have been no more than 3 species of Moth from the same number of traps, but still we soldier on!

BEADED CHESTNUT
BLACK RUSTIC
along with
LUNAR UNDERWING
Bird-wise the
Solar Panel Compound produced
no more than a handful of
MEADOW PIPITs
but at the Mast Head our Friend and Spanish Maintenance Foreman

Buenus Dias Amigos
Being close to the Sewerage Works is always worthy of that extra look but again despite the prolonged search there was little reward save for an increase in numbers of
BLACK-HEADED GULLs
along with a most obliging male
BLACKBIRD
undertaking Bath and Dhobie operations.
Heading south, and homeward we spotted a couple of
New Kids on the Heath which we presume to be
OLD ENGLISH WHITEs
and if this crop were destined for the
Halloween Market
then the custard seems to have been slightly over-egged?
