 On yet another chill but sunny morning

with plenty of overhead aircraft activity, all heading west, again the slow trickle of new Moths for the Year continue with a lone

which were gently teased from the tray and scaterred among the Heathe on the nearby Heath,

we cannot resist adding a 'male', unlikely to visit our traps, while the back-up was little more than a tiny and hardly mobile

SLUG

which moves just slightly faster than myself!
Hardly able to contain the excitement of the Slug, there came a series of 'bits-and-pieces' from all over the place starting with my recently visited friends in Hampshire who had surely informed their next door neighbour of our Moth antics during my visit. He was quick to produce an image of a Moth that had landed on him in his garden in France and was looking for an ID? Right outside of my comfort zone it was sent to Bomber who by return of post proclaimed it to be an

OAK HAWK-MOTH
followed by a 'double-whammy' from our caravaning friends from Derbyshire with firstly a

a member of the Seahorse / Seadragon Family
rescued,still alive, from the main thoroughfare in Bournemoth town centre!
Surely Gull assisted?? and sticking with the Tilley's a nifty

from the nearby main pond - returned immediately.
Otherwise, at the same location, the

MUTE SWANs
appear to be showing interest in nest building activitys again while

BLACKCAP (female)

male
seem to be singing from every bush - a nice influx.

On the other hand this lone
CANADA GOOSE
was the only representative of the Wildfowl across the Gravel Pit while

COMMON BUZZARD
in line with the Warblers above

seem to be everywhere!

Additionally, in the same Solar Panel Compound, the Lambs are practicing for the next

or the next

Chicago White Socks Baseball Game.
