Puts You in Mind of Tchaikovsky

Again another day for springing out of the hammock, before the upper limb of the Sun had reached the horizon, in an attempt to get to the Moth Traps before the rain did!

First out of the Trap and in immediate succession a couple of
RIBAND WAVEs
looking somewhat different with the one above having the centre-bar absent and vice versa below!
Like the above but far more dramatic another f.f.y.
ELEPHANT HAWK-MOTH
Ditto
TREBLE BROWN-SPOT
and finally c2
FESTOON
both reluctant to un-cock their tails.
There was some haste to all of that, not just due to the weather, but as a result of a bit of useful     'insider information' (bit of a repete here)
led to the first view of c2of the Mute Swan Cygnets
"Video Killed the Radio Star"
and as if by way of punctuation
of the c3
our second ever record of
all the family
"we can't rewind we've gone to far"
GRASS SNAKE
at the same location,
but there was a price to pay
a decent soaking half way up to the gunwhals for our efforts.
As if that were not enough aquatics for one morning up at the Gravel Pit the now semi-resident 2x pairs of
TUFTED DUCK
remain in situ but then joined by one of the now sporadic adult
LITTLE GREBEs
female
male, we wish they would do the buisness!
Again, enough is sufficient but not on the day as
I caught a fleeting glimps out of the corner of my eye,
the second adult
LITTLE GREBE
I turned to look but it was gone,
I cannot put my finger on it now.
The child has grown,
the dream has gone.
For I have become
Comfortably Numb
The Humbug has Reappeared!!
AND YES IT RAINED AGAIN - IN BUCKETs
Anyone fancy having a crack at the

Guitar Break? Ok, we'll leave it to Pink!
