Out on the Wily, Windy Moor - Kate

Looks like the Facebook Post had the desired effect as 'HITS' this morning had increased 3 fold and being greedy in that respect hope our new and very welcome Readers will pass on the Link please! Thanks to one and All.

With so much going on we have got behind a little in fact as far away as last Sunday when after attending the  Moth Trap to the tune of a single

WINTER MOTH

along with our second DOR BEETLE of the year
we also paid our first visit of the year to the
HEATH
where, as ever, our long lost friends were awaiting our arriva bothl the
GOATs
and the Bull
OLD ENGLISH WHITE
with the biggest Salt Lick we have ever seen followed by the 'first for the year'
STONECHAT
singular, close to the leafless and not 'trembling' at this time of year,
ASPENs
With the other Cattle at great distance the intent was to turn the Reptile Covers
which on the cross-path we did, drawing a blank
but that's when they spotted us an charging across the Heath to see what 'goodies' we had brought for them!
c 2 WOODLARK
brought up yet another species to the Year List while we noted that there are now
c5 AIRBUS AIRCRAFT

on the pan and seemingly redundant?
with a lone

DARTFORD WARBLER
bringing up the 67th species to be recorded this year for our patch!
