Jack Frost
had gone for good we returned to reality to find a thin veneer on the tennis court but of huge surprise

New Species for the Year within the Moth Traps
YELLOW HORNED

along with
OAK BEAUTY
bringing the Annual Total up to 14 species.
During the process it became obvious that one of the local
KESTRELs
was tucking into an equally avian breakfast as our recent and still yet small
MURMURATION
of Starlings, considered to be at least 150 strong, were also feasting on the Tennis Court with a reminder of the recent gale-force winds
cutting across our closely neigbouring
HOLM OAK
and on the Gravel Pit
seemingly the return of
 the male
TUFTED DUCK
as
LINNET
numbers increase across the
Solar Panel Compound
While across the Heath
COAL TIT
showing some sighs of
nest building.
