"The Taxman's taken all my dough, and left me in my Dorset home". Last evenings dinner, say it myself I shouldn't, was a resounding success, especially the wine, good old Dom never let's you down. This was followed by an hour of Pink Floyd's 'Pulse' DVD (that usually has the desired effect too). Luckily today had been programmed as a lazy one so we sat in the sun sipping fruit juice most of the morning, that is until Joy next door shattered the silence. No, it is always good to be in the company of Roy and Joy and so a bottle of wine was in order, along with some left over B&B pudding and Dorset Red cheese. Their friends Peter and Hillary were over and on the strength of the couple of bottles Ille and I were invited to an impromptu lunch. A large bowl of hearty stew, followed by strawberry cheesecake and we were satiated. Cue to sit in the sun all afternoon listening to an extensive 60's mini-disc and this is how the day will continue and end. Must away now as the coffee and Cognac is being served next door. While life is as full as this the f''in Taxman can have all my dough - there's more to life.
