Rio Mono and Bayano Lake Bridges, Panama

My final full day with Gonzalo, who has been an excellent guide throughout,
but first an advert. If you have any dreams of visiting Panama, I strongly recommend the above hotel at Torti.
and so to the bridges, and if all our days stated like this the world would look even rosier. The Mono River at this time is no more than a trickle, the bridge is only a few feet long and our timing could not have been better. As we looked over the parapet, there below hunting in what water there was swam a

Only time to rattle off 3 shots before it sprang from the river and disappeared into the jungle. Both Gonzalo and I estimated the beast to have been in the region of 6 feet long!
