On our leaving this magic vantage point we found more businesses favouring the site as thisbrightly liveried Helicopter flew past our possition and found to be part of the newley formedFlight / Search and Rescue Training Facility

The Verne Prison gates brought back a memory...

actually, had to leave as well...
Had a call from the prison, to the company l was
working with at the time, in Weymouth, for a pool
table for the games room...in the prison, so l went
up, had a quick look, got the paper work done and
left...! HeHe! And they did'nt even check my finger
prints....! :).
Did a lot of business in Portland and Weymouth of
course back in the 80's...
