Watcher of the Skies - Genesis

Well, as predicted we didn't have to wait long for the I,D, on  the Sheep of yesterday and I am kicking myself still as finding them to be Jacob's, all to familiar to me. Nevertheless, Thanks John!

An all to short encounter at daybreak as firstly one

KINGFISHER
landed on one of the chicken-coup posts and then a split second later
a second alighted on the opposite post again for the same split second!
A DELIGHT!
With the weather still looking unpredictable
(Good Job They Have the Windows In)
we made our usual rounds to find no Moths in now only 2 active traps but the avians certainly made up for that. Before leaving the Solar Panal Compound a single
WOODLARK
(not at all a regular visitor here)
while a
STONECHAT
happily posed on the perimeter fence.
A couple of
GREENFINCH
en-route to the Sewerage Works where again good fortune visited us with the arrival of
a couple of what is hoped might become our winter resident
BLACK REDSTARTs

The day ended very much as it had started with a stroll across the Golf Course to find

either another or
one of the same
(that hedge is certainly moving about????)
