Thorn in My Side - Eurythmics

Following suit with the proverbial Bus once one
THORN
turns up soon after so does another.

 PURPLE THORN
and none less welcome to the Year List as was our first

 BRINDLED BEAUTY
but making up the trio 
"we don't do Micros" especially the more difficult

 PLUME MOTHS
(right outside of our ken but no less interesting)
Out in the wider world it quickly turned into a

 BUZZARD

 fest
with this obliging individual followed in quick succession by c2 more.
While on the subject of quick, we were attracted to the posturing of this pair of bonny birds,

 Look Out He's Behind You

 Too Late!

 It isn't very often yoy see such action, and that's only speaking for myself.

 a bit of a spruce up

The look of 
PHEASANT SATISFACTION

 All to often given short shrift these are extremely smart birds!

 but some are never
SATISFIED!

BLACK ANT's NEST

 Presumed the same skein of 4 
GREYLAG GEESE
as seen last week? and a first

 BROWN-LIPPED SNAIL
was followed by the second

BUZZARD

 as the third escaped the Canon.

 The bread and other scrapes are put out for anything 'wild' which happens along

 so we don't want to discriminate, but it seemed a little unusual to attract a

 ROOK

to bread.
Don't remember ever seeing this before, so maybe need to get out more?
